Employment Opportunities at ACHIEVE

Discover the Rewards of a Career in Direct Support

To protect the safety of the individuals we support and staff, ACHIEVE encourages employees to be current on all recommended vaccinations, including but not limited to: COVID-19.
If you accept an offer of employment, you will be required to prove that you have received your first dose of the 2-shot vaccination series or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, or have a valid religious or medical reason not to be vaccinated prior to your start date. If you need a second dose to become fully vaccinated, we require documentation of the second dose, to be administered within the timeframe recommended by the CDC.

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? ACHIEVE offers a variety of direct support and professional positions. Direct Support Professionals

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide the extra supports to help people with intellectual and other disabilities live full and meaningful lives. This video illustrates the real, everyday work of direct support professionals. It also covers both the rewards and challenges of direct support and the personal qualities it takes to be a  great direct support professional.

Volunteer Opportunities

ACHIEVE needs volunteers from the community for a variety of activities. Whether volunteering at a fundraising event or serving on a long-standing agency committee, you can make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.

ACHIEVE has many opportunities for people who are interested in helping individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. You can volunteer once, or you can volunteer on a continual basis. It doesn’t matter when or how you give your time — there are unlimited ways for you to help!

For Volunteer or Intern consideration, you may complete the INTERN/VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM and return it to volunteers@achieveny.org. Thank you.
