Supervised Apartments

This unique program offers individuals an opportunity to live semi-independently in their own apartment within a larger apartment complex. Staff members are available on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to support and assist residents with learning and growing their residential living skills. Staff will support residents with cooking, cleaning, money management, and medication administration, as needed. Medical support and oversight is provided through ACHIEVE.

At present, ACHIEVE operates one supervised apartment building in Johnson City, N.Y. In this building there are six apartments, each accommodating two people. Individuals living in ACHIEVE’s supervised apartment building utilize public and agency transportation to get to and from work each day. Some individuals work at ACHIEVE in one of CVI’s employment centers, while others work at local businesses in the community.
