All of ACHIEVE’s residential facilities are regulated by the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). They are designed to support individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in their community with access to recreational and work opportunities.
Admission requires a developmental disability diagnosis before the age of 22, with the individual requiring a supervision level other than one-on-one support.
Individuals interested in Residential Services may submit a referral to ACHIEVE. After the application is reviewed, the individual will be interviewed for suitability. The anticipated waiting period for placement is dependent on the availability of an appropriate opening.
