Pre-Vocational Services

ACHIEVE’s pre-vocational assessment and training program is meant to understand people’s interests, discover their capabilities, and merge the two into fulfilling, lifelong careers.

We operate a pre-vocational program at each of our three Country Valley Industries facilities. Our goal is to teach responsibility, teamwork, initiative and problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in the workplace.

The requirements to enter the program:

• A diagnosis of developmental disability manifested before the age of 22.
• Twenty-one or older upon admission, except for work-study students, who must 18.
• Be relatively independent, mobile and generally self-sufficient in self-care and toilet skills.
• Be eligible for HCBS Waiver Services.
