We are SO excited to announce that the ACHIEVE Children's Summer Program has been selected as a recipient agency in the 2014 Wendy's Walk for Kids!
The Wendy's Walk for Kids mission is to support programs whose purpose is to help children in our community realize their full potential regardless of their life experiences and current circumstances.
Inspired by our self-advocates, families, volunteers, and staff, Songs for NYSARC helps increase public awareness about individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities through four unique and wonderful original songs.
Join the ACHIEVE team today and ask your friends and family to join you in sharing music to inspire support. By downloading the songs or making a donation you will help us to continue providing services and advocacy to and with individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families.
Join us in using music to change the world for the individuals ACHIEVE serves!

ACHIEVE is presently engaged in a major fundraising initiative to support its Growing Spaces, Improving Lives Building Rehabilitation Project at its Cutler Pond Road site. To date, the Agency has raised $3.4 million of a $3.8 million goal thanks to the generosity and ongoing support of community partners.
The Agency began construction on this monumental project in March. That same month the agency opened a new location at 47 Riverside Drive in Johnson City. Staff members whose offices at Cutler Pond were impacted by the renovations were relocated to this new location. In addition, ACHIEVE’s subsidiary, Country Valley Industries, also moved their Court Street Employment Center operations to the Riverside Drive location.
Phase One of the construction project took place throughout the spring and early summer, and wrapped up in the month of July. This phase consisted of asbestos abatement, as well as renovation of the front part of the building into new Day Habilitation Core Rooms and Administrative Offices.
Phase Two of construction began in August and is on schedule to be completed at the end of this year. This phase consists of renovation of the previous Day Habilitation Wing into additional Core Rooms and Day Habilitation Office Space.
The completion of this project will allow ACHIEVE to address the health and safety concerns that currently exist as well as expand program services to meet the growing needs of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in our communities.
